Planned removal of simple mode

Hello

found the information beneath in appointment app:

Weekly pattern and external booking doesn't meet our needs. We need to offer bi-weekly appointments and we cannot find options for this without the current simple mode. Is there a planned replacement for this? Or will it be removed without any substitution?

Or do you have an advise to work around?

bi-weekly appointments can be created using recurrence (repeat every 2 weeks) and External Mode

Looks like we doesn't mean the same. It is not about the calendar, it is about the booking of appointments. Once I am using "weekly template" (this is baout weekly appointments only, not bi-weekly) and once I am using extern, I cannot define slots. Am I missing something or do I something wrong?

same issue for me, I used "external", created one "available" slot through the calendar app, duplicated 100 times inside calendar app

something that worked flawlessly with the "simple" mode that is about to be terminated.

Simple mode is currently the only mode supporting multiple independent bookings for the same time range. External and Weekly Template treat the first booking as a conflict for all overlapping source slots.
Therefore removing Simple mode after August 2026 removes existing capacity-based functionality. Please either postpone the removal until #54 is implemented, or add a capacity/source-slot-based booking mechanism.

I used "external" as well after previous adivise. On a first glance it seemed to work. My scenario is: having 3 slots at a time and extended them into the future. Once I book one of three appointsment on a special date, the other two at this date disappear as well. The future slots still remain.
