Grid-size mismatch when saving Langmuir variables

I am trying to save the variable lamult (Langmuir enhancement factor received from WW3), but the model crashes with the following error:

FATAL from PE 0: post_data_2d_low: ocean_model-lamult peculiar size 0 in i-direction\ndoes not match one of 9 10 17 18

The same error occurs when attempting to output La_turbulent (surface turbulent Langmuir number).
