Crashing while trying to bring up Battleship menu (Linux)

On the Linux version, pushing ESC to bring up the Battleship settings menu crashes for me on SteamOS

Odd, I just tested on my Steam Deck and I'm not having any issues running the game or accessing the ESC menu..

Really? That is indeed odd. I wonder if maybe something went wrong with updating my install somewhere down the line. I might delete everything and try a fresh install

Update: I deleted my game directory and re-extracted my assets, and now it works. So yeah, I'm guessing something went wrong with my install.
