[BUG] Timeliner doesn't work in Chrome/Firefox on Android devices

Description

After opening a timeline in Chrome or Firefox on an Android device, none of the buttons in the timeliner interface work. Play does not actually start playback, you cannot advance the playhead on the timeline or with the forward/back keys, clicking on bubbles in the timeline, doesn't actually select the bubble, you cannot add markers or split bubbles, and eventually an error message is displayed.

In Chrome, the interface lets you edit the text / description for the first bubble that is selected by default, so it's not completely frozen. In Firefox, the interface is completely frozen:
