[Map] New DeathMatch map #89

Background

DeathMatch currently has 5 maps (acid_factory, barrel, beach, cargo_hold, firing_range, valley — actually 6). Additional variety is welcome for a MAGFest showing. WIP levels (aquatic_drill, castle, pinball) may be candidates after their assessments.

Subsystems:

  • Level objects / hazards (LevelObjects/, GameLogic/)
  • ScriptableObject data (GameMode, GunfishData, SceneList)

Problem / Requirement

A fresh DeathMatch map with a distinct theme or mechanic focus would add variety to the rotation. Could introduce a level object or hazard combination not seen in existing maps.

Proposed Solution

Options:

  1. Revive a WIP level (aquatic_drill, castle, or pinball) once assessed
  2. Build a new map from a dm_* template scene

Add to the DeathMatch SceneList ScriptableObject when complete.

  • Change is in a ScriptableObject asset, not hardcoded in a script

Testing Plan

  • Editor Play mode — tested via ▶ in Unity Editor
  • Multiplayer — tested with 2-4 players
  • Visual — art pass verified

Acceptance Criteria

  • Map is fun and distinct from existing DM maps
  • 4-player DeathMatch plays correctly (spawns, kill boxes, camera)
  • Map added to DeathMatch SceneList ScriptableObject
