Why are some apps not shown in the applicaton

Specific: Spotify installed as browser web app (Brave). Like right now I am listening to spotify (as you can see in the image in the taskbar, but it doesn't show up...)

the apps that show are apps that are or have played audio when that specific output device was in use, does this answer your question?

No, I meant, Spotify was (at the time) currently playing in the screenshot, but EarTrumpet didn't show it. So I couldn't turn Spotify's audio easily down with EarTrumpet. It should've shown, but it didn't, that was my question

that is a bug then that needs to be raised as such to be investigated, I've not came across the issue yet but will do some testing to see what happens on my machines
