MacOS refuses to install the application

Description

MacOS refuses to install the app because it is not signed. If the issue is funding the $99/yr Apple Developer Program we could crowdfund it.

my issue is mainly out of principle.

i have tried jumping through these hoops before for an iOS app. the process for setting up an apple developer account and signing your app is extremely convoluted (maybe it's less complicated on mac than iOS? but i doubt it). IIRC it also requires me to create my own LLC or something? this is just not something i want to put up with as a developer even if i was being paid to.

if i do want to get rebased signed, i would want all of it to be managed and maintained by somebody else so i don't have to think about it at all (and that person would need to be trustworthy)

workaround from the readme in case anybody is unaware:

xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Rebased.app
