Toggle Switch required - still red though selected

If I don't click on Toggle Switch which is required, it turns red. When selecting an option, switch doesn't turn green and hence it's not visible what has been selected. In the screenshot the first option has been selected.

Once the Toggle switch field is given a value, the red validation markup should disappear.

I managed to solve this problem with CSS. I targeted the buttons and I added the class ".btn-success" to then work the css.
Here's an example:
#CF5cd1582e33bcb_1-row-33 div .btn-success{
background-color:#dff0d8;
border-color:#86b789;
}
