Feature Request: multi-language support #14

Description

@3gf8jv4dv

I recently used the new version from afs-nt branch. I found that the relevant text for both the GUI and CLI was basically hardcoded to Simplified Chinese.

It may be fine in the CLI environment, but the GUI display effect of Simplified Chinese in the Windows English language environment does not look good. I can not get Windows to return the Simplified Chinese display to normal while keeping English as the primary language. In this case, Windows seems to fallback to Japanese fonts. If it can be displayed directly in English, I believe the effect will be much better.

Regarding the picture below, some details of the environment used:

  • Windows 11, version 23H2
  • Display language: English (United States)
  • Preferred languages: English (United States) comes first
  • Language for non-Unicode programs: Chinese (Simplified, China)
  • AssFontSubset.Avalonia: v2.0.0-beta4

Considering the potential Traditional Chinese users of this software and its compatibility in the English environment, could consider adding at least two languages (en and zh-tw/zh-hk)?

Another, Considering the lightweight nature of this software, there is no need to make an interface specifically for switching languages. Only need to switch according to the language of the system (English is used as the fallback language) and that is it.
