The current implemntation of springs adds energy because they apply new force onto the balls. What we should have instead is springs that upon colliision shrink and then dissipate that energy or put it back on the ball based on the K coffiecient. At most the energy lost from the ball should be regained back by the ball. nothing extra should be added.
